TOURNAMENT PROTOCOLS
Warrior's Quest maintains the highest standards of combat sports competition. Our continuous format is designed to test technical proficiency and endurance in a high-intensity environment. We bring in certified officials for all MMA & kickboxing bouts.
Light contact MMA divisions for ages 12+ (adults too!)
Light contact kickboxing divisions for ages 5+ (adults welcome!)
Required Gear
All MMA participants must use Warrior's Quest gloves, provided by us, or available for purchase. Kickboxers must wear approved gloves.
Shinguards are required, and are also available for purchase. Mouthguards are non-negotiable for all contact levels.
Groin guards and head gear are optional.
Light contact
Warrior's Quest is designed as a developmental event focused on learning, skill, and technique. The tournament serves as a training tool, giving athletes the opportunity to apply what they've practiced in a competitive environment while gaining valuable experience. All divisions are strictly light contact, with an emphasis on control, sportsmanship, and athlete safety. The goal is to help competitors build confidence, refine their techniques, and continue developing as martial artists.
Weight Verification
Weigh-ins take place upon arrival. Due to the nature of day-of registrations, we cannot guarantee exact comparison groups, but every effort will be made to match athletes with competitors of similar weight, age, and skill level.
Continuous Flow
Competitors will take part in continuous kickboxing and MMA action throughout the tournament. The event follows a round-robin format, allowing each athlete to compete in one round against every other competitor in their division. This structure maximizes ring time, provides valuable competitive experience, and gives participants multiple opportunities to demonstrate their skills while learning and improving in a supportive environment.

The Continuous Tournament takes place at the Co-operators Agrim Centre in Rimbey, AB. Ample parking is available for participants and spectators. Please arrive early for check-in and weigh-in as per the event schedule.
